Turns out he is a kickass character. Had the first run with him tonight and he managed to make the GM play the Final Fantasy fanfare song on his guitar after taking 7 guys apart in one round heh.

He's not a grappler primarily. And it's an anime themed game anyway, logic went out the window when I kicked 7 guys to the ground in two moves
