You keep making me want to watch Mulan! Fine! I know what I'm doing today.
I'm glad you got the coloring figured out- we'll have to do something about your linework so its not so grainy. Inking thicker would definitely reduce the need for adjusting levels so severely, that way your art can have a smooth, clean edge.
This picture is adorable, though! I love the way you drew your character in the bucket- you did a really good job with forshortening! And the bird's face and hair is very cute.
