Born in what's left of the world after wars and climate change tore it apart, Annabelle has seen nothing but the neverending wasteland once known as the United States.
She grew up alone with her father and uncle, as they struggled doing whatever they could to survive on their own; looting, cultivating whenever they were lucky enough, hunting and trading with others. Growing up, her father was quick and determined to teach her all about survival. How, and when, to make a fire, finding water, operating tools, weapons and vehicles, never to trust anyone but herself, apart from her father and uncle, etc.
Unfortunately, the trust she had for her little family would be shattered when her uncle one night, behind his brother's back, traded Anne away for provisions to slavers. But luckily for her, it didn't take her long to escape as one of the slavers underestimated the lithe, young bunny.
But as she thought her family betrayed her, rather than trying to go back to her them, she fled off into the wilderness to fend for herself. Which she barely managed to do for a few months, until she had the misfortune of running into her old slavers again.
Yet, fortune smiled upon her again as she was saved just in the nick of time, by a crew of scavengers from a clan calling themselves "The Warren".
The Warren, being more of less a society of only lapines, welcomed Annabelle into their clan. The leader of the crew who saved her, Victor Van, quickly grew a fondness for the new rabbit, and despite his narcissistic and arrogant tendencies, Van eventually managed to gain her trust. Or at least, taught her to tolerate his presence and ignore his advances.
Thanks to her survival skills and handiness with vehicles, she soon earned herself a place with the scavengers. Although, even if she sees the Warren as her home, Anne still just barely dare to trust them as friends. Even less a family. She's still more of a loner, and often heads out on her own, and heeds her father's advice to only trust herself.

Greetings Niko!
I am a huge fan of Mad Max and Mad Max inspired films so I find this piece of artwork very enjoyable. I really like the way you painted her shorts with the raggedy bottoms, as if they were cut from a pair of long pants at some time.
Underboob shirts are a necessity due to shortage of fabric
