Lake Minnewanka

This gorgeous lake stretches for over 25 km and is the largest lake in the Canadian Rockies. It has been artificially raised 3 times and about 50 feet out from shore lies the sunken town of Minnewanka Landing which was submerged by the most recent one. I had the pleasure of hiking around the lake and for 8 1/2 hours ,I was in heaven.
