-In a modest likeness of one of it's hybrid appearance sakes, it's markings seem to expand and retract based on hydration, contraction and expansion of its form
-Acts offended by the color purple
-Tongue is long and at the very tip and very base, is covered in brush-like nodules, combined with the sticky saliva of the tip it makes for a very difficult trap for food to escape
-Has a throat pouch and will hide small shiny things inside.
-Eyes can move independently, this can make Emmu's face seem derpy
-Emmu can repeat and recite back simple messages, having been trained as a courier beast to only recite what she's been told most recently to relay, in lieu of paper as battlefield reports to not have such, often.
-Likes to 'nom' and groom bare hands, enjoys holding bells in mouth and shaking head around, dust baths are an exceptional favorite.
-Emmu's tail, wing claws and legs are all meant to grip, when not in flight or using to scale her enclosure, the tail is curled all the way in.
-Emmu is an unusual specimen and is one of the only of her kind having been caught for study from a strange foreign land.
-For behavior reference, Emmu is like an umbrella cockatoo and a chameleon.

This is Emmu the Blepper, original design made by SlayersStronghold on DeviantArt. I wasn't sure what to do with the original design, nor could I immediately find the original notes for the creature for reference, so I got a little creative.
