Here's the final of my elemental dragon series for the upcoming dragon deck. I played around with a number of cloud, storm, fog and other atmosperhic ideas but returned instead to my bird dragons. This was inspiried by all the swans I've photographed last this winter. I thought about using the local Trumpeter Swan but the Mute Swans have that gorgeous flash of bill colour. I find the composition in this pic to be really pleasing to my eye:)

I'm sort of sorry I've finished these pics as they were very satisfying and inspiring to work on. I'm going to have to lay them all out together and see how they work as a set. I noticed that I worked in four basic colours ie yellow/gold, red, blue and green. Two wingless dragons, two with wings. Two with companion animals, two without. I like the symmetry:)Prints are available of these images as well as all four originals.
