Heh, the complexity in this piece explains the comment you left in my piano piece. You're a <i>far</i> more experienced composer than I!

I like this very much, I'd love to hear it recorded with real strings. Synths just don't do it justice.

And I can't say I'm an experienced composer in all honesty ^^; This is only the second piece I've ever written. Next year, when I attend college, I plan on majoring in composition and theory though! I can't wait! ^.^

I am in the process of writing the Andante movement for it, but I can't say when I'll have it finished, unfortunately, especially if I'm to prepare this for performance!

On that note, I am most definitely going to try and get this performed soon, but that will take a long time unfortunately D: See the below comment I gave to Luxy on why that is ><

Well I used Logic Express 8 to write it, then I bounced it to iTunes as an mp3. That's all I know ^^; I'm not sure if that's a playback device or not, though, lol. =)

And I will most definitely try and get this performed! Believe or not, it takes a lot more to perform it than I thought. I'd have to rewrite the entire piece using a software notation device, thus adding all the dynamics I'd want portrayed. That would take a long time. >< Then I would have to submit it to a composition contest or such if I couldn't find an orchestra or someone to perform it for me. D:

It's all very good, and to say the least is a lot better than the stuff I come up with.

I'm unsure as to why, but it makes me think of the sea, or a story about pirates a la treasure island.

Ugh... I have no choice but to put this on my I-Pod, it's too well written to pass up!

As to how to improve it...

Hmm... It's not actually often I find music this well written.

I'll stew on it for a day and compile a list of possible ways to improve it [Not that I'll find very many.]

I assume when you call it a concerto, you're using an entire orchestra? If you want some feedback from me, I'd say to perhaps use the entire orchestra, as I didn't hear any brass or winds in there!
But if I've misunderstood something, completely disregard that last sentence!!!

I wrote all of the parts by hand but I used the instruments in Logic to make the actually recording. I suck at live recording ><; It'd be difference if I played it with a live orchestra but, unfortunately, I don't have one D:
