One of my coworkers told me something totally random the other day. He started giving me the nickname "Sonic" because he thought my voice sounded like Sonic the Hedgehog, and that my hair looked like Sonic's too. Of course, I was like: "What the hell are you talking about? No I don't!" I have never been told anything like that in my life before, so my coworker must've been trippin' for real!
Back to the comic: This was a pretty fun page to make; I really like how all the expressions turned out. Also, the use of silhouettes is one of my favorite methods to add background details without it being too painstaking. That's why I end up kicking myself whenever I decide to have a panel showing an establishing shot of buildings, or landscapes because the detail required in those is frickin' uncanny!
Another thing I noticed, is that as I'm going along with these pages, I think I'm seeing my comic start to resemble the manga style more and more. I don't know. What do you guys think?
