I enjoy collaboration greatly and was lucky enough recently to do so
with java, who sent me some audio files of her playing around with
her banjo. She apparently makes music under the name "A r".
I do tend to tweak and minglemangle the audio that I'm working with,
so in this case anything that sounds remotely like a banjo very likely
is her playing. She sent me a couple files; I drew most heavily from the
one she entitled "five", hence the name. This is part of an upcoming
album I'm slowly putting together for the Spring season.
If you've got anything recorded of yourself and are willing to feed me
raw material, please do. Thanks!

Why sir, it begins with a japanese theme, then an andinian theme , then going to beat mode, and hiding bashfully some reggae. Most interesting. A "mind experiment"? Or just letting the subconscious loose? Anyway, it blew my socks off. Quite literally I may say, because the bass in my 5.1 speakers went oh so delightfully loose.
At first, I was confused as to what time this was in, but it came eventually when the beat really started. I like it! I've been following your stuff for a while now on your other galleries, but I didn't know you did music too!
I just picked up a nice Korg EMX-1 and once I'm more comfortable with it, I might like to collaborate with you. Given the right time of day and the right mood, I could produce something along these lines if that's what you're into. *shrug*
