Iaras are short, cute forest mammals. They have fluffy "elf-ish" long ears, a slim figure and the main trace of having HUGE hair.
Males and females have exactly the same body "type", save the genitals. Both of them have also big eyes and some of them carry precious trinkets, such as little diamonds glued to their fur, necklaces or a spear. This spear is decorated with stones and crystals they find since they are born, and represents their past and fights. Iaras found without spears or trinkets were victims of some fatality, and by getting rid of their accessories, they try to forget the past.
They are docile and ingenue with all the species, including humans. This has lead to many of them being captured for many uses, from pets to sexual slavery.
Iaras have a soft, singing voice. Both females and males sound exactly the same(rather feminine).
They have huge, ultra fluffy tails. However, this isn't due to the "meat" actually, but due to the huge amount of fur. If you shave their tails off, is simply looks like an usual cat tail.
Since it's very heavy, it's usually touching the ground in some way.
Some of them have huge silk or transparent fabric ribbons flying from their tails. They usually have some meaning: many of them are spell tags.

Also, Iaras are very peculiar. This is why I won't be selling many of them: I want to keep them unique~
