Here, Kayla is forced to play peacemaker between Daniel and Drain. She's probably the only one who can get them to stop, considering they're fighting over her. Both feel they are acting out of love for her, but she wants them not to fight. Hopefully, they'll at least be civil to one another.

Now that is a story I look forward to reading. However, why do they hate each other so much, especially with their relationships to Lillian? I understand them not being bosom pals but at least respect one another.

Daniel always felt that Drain took advantage of Lillian's good nature and doesn't want to see that happen with Kayla. Drain, on the other hand, feels that Daniel abandoned Lillian and Kayla when they needed him the most.

Possibility is thin considering the hisotry between the two growling individuals.

But if Kayla were to be in grave danger then I'm sure both of them would work together to save the girl they know and love.
