So this is a short little creation myth that I created for a story that I have writing for awhile now entitled "Fantasy Anthology" although I'm probably going to change that at some point, just haven't thought of anything yet, but without further adieu it begins below.

In the beginning there was peace. Then out of the abyss rose a devil known only Doppel. He was fiend who wrought nothing but madness and destruction. He nearly managed to erase everything and bring about Mu. While he brought the world close to its end, Seven young heroes rose up, and banded together in order to vanquish the devil Doppel. The heroes according to legend the heroes names Taro, Hattchi, Vulture,Karita, Crosk, Cornelius, and Elumina. Each of them was a master of their own trade, and together the septet were a formidable force to be reckoned with. A great battle ensued between them and Doppel, and with their combined power they managed to defeat the devil, and save the world from annihilation.
Upon his defeat Doppel’s power became their own. With this power the seven became Gods of a sort, and obtained the power to reshape the world however they saw fit. Initially they had attempted to reverse what had been done, but found that what was done could not be restored. With the damage that had been done the world, repairing it entirely was impossible. While they could not repair everything that was lost, with their new found power they could create anew. Of the seven it was Vulture who theorized they could use the power in this fashion. Taking this into account the seven agreed upon this mode of action, and they created the world anew.
Each of the seven created an aspect of this new world. Hattchi, arguably the most creative of the seven he sculpted the new land and seas, retaining a sense of previous semblance. Elumina with her affinity of for sorcery re-established the forces of nature, allowing the beauty and the crudeness of phenomenon to exist once more. Cornelius with his chivalry and sense of honor as established a basis of law and order for the world, with which its new inhabitants could follow. Karita with his humanity, and noble sense persona played a part in the establishment of the residents that would inhabit this new world, namely would we come to be known as the Hume. Crosk being wild, unpredictable, and eccentric, used his imagination and antics to create chaos to balane the law and order, and an assortment of other inhabitants. Crosk’s vision for inhabitants became known as Fae, Merfolk, the avian Harpy & Tengu, the Pantherinae, and the Oni. Finally Taro being the last of the seven to play a part in the world’s creation produced the fauna, flora, and established the final race to uphold the laws of this new world – the Umbra. With the last of the very last of this power they were given, the seven revived those whom they were closest too, and returned the true deities to their rightful place.
With this power gone and the new world created, the heroes named it Pangea and went about living the remainder of their lives. Decades later after their disappearance and chaos ensued once again, and a war broke out between the Hume and the Fae. The Fae found the Hume inferior, and attempted to dispose of them. The Fae however underestimated the Hume’s will to live, and ability to fight back despite not being as unique. Overtime their feud would spread and other sects of the world would be dragged into their squabble. In doing so the other races were forced to pick sides, lest they risk their own survival. The sea-dwelling Merfolk provided weapons and other miscellaneous supplies to the Fae, and return obtained their protection during the war. The Avian race acted as mercenaries for whichever side provided the largest bounty, but seemed primarily sided with the Hume. Despite not necessarily helping either side, the Pantherinae and the Oni fought solely for their own survival, and would murder anyone that they deemed were in their way. The Umbra merely stayed out of the fray, the other races typically avoiding them all together partially due to fear of their own strength.
This war lasted decades, resulting in mass destruction, and the once whole land to be split apart. These large land masses would become known as continents, with their own forms of government. With all of the ensuing destruction a single Umbra came forth put a stop to the madness, showing the Hume and the Fae the folly of their ways; making them realize there truly was too much causality. Although reluctant as they may be the Hume and the Fae finally decided to end the War diplomatically. A treaty of an unknown content was signed, and the war finally came to a close.
The split land masses became claimed by the varying races that inhabited this new world, and would be named accordingly. The smallest of these land masses would come to be known as Israfel, named after an omnipotent being that was said to be a common ancestor the Hume and the Fae. It was inhabited by individuals of every race, with certain sections being predominately of one race or the other. The largest of the continents became known as Xeyga, and was claimed by the Pantherinae. After the war the Pantherinae had decided to move themselves as far away from the Hume and the Fae as possible, due to their destructive nature. Another of these continents became known as Carleone. It was considered to be in the center, being surrounded by the others, and separated from the vast sea. It became predominately inhabited by the Hume, but a decent amount of their population also turned out to be Fae. The other landmasses were given differing names depending on who asked, and the Umbra scattered themselves among all of the land masses.
After a century and the world having an opportunity to recover and the establishment of the varying continents peace seemed to reign supreme. The Hume, Fae, Oni, and Pantherinae became known as the four primary races. Other races that were not originally known also emerged after the world began to heal, although had not played any major part in the war and were presumed to have been in hiding for its entirety.
