Whereas some people have a hard time making their ideas known, some people have the other side of the problem. One day, a writer sat before his desk, thousands of ideas and concepts whirling around his head, and yet...his pen stays mute, the paper pristine and white. After a few minutes of such inactivity, he drives his feather pen down, breaking the nib and splattering ink in a blob down the center of the book, before returning to his bed, and falling asleep.
Unbeknownst to him, magical energies filled the air that day (perhaps a byproduct of Scamper's emergence?), and the book glowed with etherial magic...a serpentine creature rising from the inkblot, taking form from his writer's imagination, words and letters dancing across its form. It searches through the room, and the longer it goes ignored, the larger the creature grows, before forcing its head through a door to find its sleeping "writer". It pulls the book over to his side, and coils around him.
When the boy wakes up, he sees the book, which when opened, reveals all the words that were so obstructing his mind written in orderly prose amongst the pages, and his mind clear. He grips his pen once again, and upon the blank space, begins to write, the poetry almost as if whispered into his ear...by a serpentine Muse.
