The Halloween merch this year is KILLING IT.
That black and white striped pumpkin is now one of my all-time favorite decorations, and if this is what all the other stores have I can't wait to see what Target will bring out. (Target is my favorite place for Halloween decorations)

I almost officially have all digital commission linearts done! Just several left to finish and then I'll run through with the coloring. No eta just yet, but once I get a little further in I'll have some announcements and stuff for yous guise

Always more candles!
But I guess because I have three storage bins of 'em under my bed (each bin holds about twenty large jars) I was more interested in drawing the new accessory merch! And I'm so BUMMED about them changing the labels on the Yankee Candles, they look like cheap nonsense now and the picture (which is half of the aesthetic to me) is sliced into a quarter of what it was D;

Michael's always leads the Halloween debut, usually around mid-July. Following shortly is Hobby Lobby, and around mid-August to late August I see places like Wal-Mart, Hallmark, Kroger, Party City, and misc shops start putting out the goods. And lastly, come early September I dive in on the specialty Halloween-specific stores, Target, etc.
And I'll have to ask Evan, he actually brought it home to surprise me!

Nice!! =) I know, if you don't already, that anything you don't find before halloween, pretty much ALWAYS drops on sales right after. fun away to stock up for next year or just because XD
Target always has a bunch of stuff though. I know the one near me has like a bargain area too with all sorts of little halloween decorations. I ended finding a purple and black bat halloween type christmas tree there =)

Oh man, the sales- the SALES. My money is pretty much nonexistant all season.

And oh my gosh, I SAW that tree before! It's all barren, and the bats are like hand-sized right? (If so, I have a photo somewhere that I took of my hand next to one of the bats)

Haha same here. Usually during summer keep a Halloween fund set aside. Make sure I have my you know."be a good adult, pay your bills!" Money, and then all the fun halloween money. Which includes haunted houses lol

Okay. I have to ask if you'd be so kind as to post a journal about this. Places you wouldn't think to try, the best deals, monthly charts of when places open and all that stuff. ESPECIALLY where I can get candles or scents that aren't gonna smoke out my entire house cause of asthmatics. I need some autumn in my life hella bad and Halloween is one of the best ways to kick that off but my knowledge pales compared to yours!

It touches my heart so much and really does inspire me to keep sharing these things I"m passionate about, because sometimes I get to feeling like no one cares and I'm throwing stuff in people's faces who don't want to see the junk that I personally like.

Dude, no shit about Target having the best Halloween merch. Like, six years ago, they had glow in the dark spiderweb bedspreads, and I got a whole set. ;w; Glory spiderweb pillowcases, fitted sheets, spread, and a boxspring skirt.
I only rip them out of storage for the season, because I don't want them to wear out, but yeah, half my house is permanently Halloween n//n

I was at Cracker Barrel the other day with my parents and they had all of their Halloween decorations and goodies out. There were SO many that I wanted to get to ship to you sometime haha but I thought of you immediately. I'm so excited to see all the Halloween themed stuff in full swing from you oh my goodness.
MMMM. Halloween has ALWAYS been my jam, but my family gets mad because I always take it too far. A couple years ago I cut off the limbs of some old barbie dolls and put them in a bloody jar and we got in trouble. And then I went the extra mile to make it look like one of the Barbies was trying to crawl away jeSUS remembering this is making me laugh anYWHO, DIY HALLOWEEN HERE I COME. But not to Michaels because they didn't hire me hell no /snaps.
