Since "Stardust the RainBowKapi" (Rainbow-Bowie-Okapi), my hubby  Sayh's suit, has been officially debuted at EF22, I can finally post the fursuit concept art I did of him. :) But the final version of him ended-up being a bit different than the art, because  Beastcub wanted to use some tie-dye rainbow fur on each stripe (sewn-in): https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B8.....ew?usp=sharing , instead of having all the stripes be airbrushed on as separate colors.

Some other changes included: the lowest stripes on the wrists were made black instead of purple, and the tail stripes were also made black. The enlarged left pupil (Bowie had anisocoria, due to an injury: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/health/a.....c-feature.html which is also why we added the notched ear) was colored black instead of having the typical "red eye" effect, since we thought that might come across as a bit creepy on a fursuit. And note that both eyes are the same shade of blue; the enlarged pupil only gives the illusion of that eye being a darker hue, same as it did on Bowie himself (many people assume he had differently-colored eyes, but they were both the same light blue). The golden-tan fur was omitted from the face, though the golden "moustache" was left, since okapis have them: https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B8.....ew?usp=sharing , plus they're adorable. :D

We also decided to add a posable, purplish-grey tongue (as okapis have), and blue-streaked eyelashes, for extra "fabulousness": https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B8.....ew?usp=sharing ;) The pendant and the golden-tan spots on the elbows are both symbolic of the golden Sun Disk that Ziggy Stardust often had on his forehead: https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B8.....ew?usp=sharing and okapis also have golden spots on their forelegs: https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B8.....ew?usp=sharing The mane, fur fringes and hooves are all the same ruddy-orange color of Ziggy's hair.
