If you want to draw then just draw. keep at it and sooner or later you're bound to draw well. :)
I only started drawing after Eurofurence 10, before that I hadn't drawn more than a stick figure for as long as I could remeber.
Tim Albee mentioned some things that reminded me of the martial arts training i've done over the years. kinda like going through the basic katas when your'e learning a fighting style. Simple reptitive excercises to teach the muscels how to perform without having to think about it (Insted of starting with a simple punch or a sword cut, you just teach yourself to draw a single line and work from there)
But the most importaint thing I learn back then was the samething I learned in the years I spent traveling: "Stop makig excuses and just bloody do it!",... it's a damn good lesson that is.
When I got back from EF I was working the nightshift in a store selling sunglasses, in the winter ('selling sunglasses at night', you can't make up crap jobs like that!), so I had pleanty of dead time, so I just started scribbling and trying differant things :)

Yeah? hmmmmmmm,..
I mostly got bored of just working in black and white. I felt it limited much expression of feeling and emotion from the picture.
some people have said it ties everythign together better,. some have said that it confuses matters. but I got similar feedback from just the black and white pictures too.
I may go back to B/w with some things but I might not,. who knows? :)
