This is my (first?) entry for  manderina's March 2009 "precious childhood memories" Pokemon contest. It's about one of my PCA NPCs, Anatoly Rebikov (son of economics professor Gavril Rebikov), and an early-childhood afternoon with his mother that leaves lasting impressions.

I'm not entirely happy with this piece; the deadline got away from me, so it feels a bit rushed, and I can't say I'm entirely happy with how well I write the viewpoint of a three-year-old. Ah, well. Nothing ventured, nothing gained, right?
