Great question, thank you for asking.
I want to say yes, but I think it would be unfair if say, someone sent a form with add-ons and was prepared with the full funds right away: They would miss out, because the model was on a type of partial hold (which isn't allowed with my adopts because of the former mention).
But in such a case, it may be best if the person simply submits for a characo instead (You can put any of my designs (example: model adopt #-#) in the "inspiring creature" category so you'll have the same species, the base prices are similar, they have more client input, and even a few more add-on options): and plus, no competition to take into consideration.
So, officially, I must say no. A characo would be the best alternative.
Thank you again for taking the time to ask!

Anytime.
Petal hair is pretty much how this species is, so if you do decide on a characo: If you want this same species, you'd simply input whatever model number (the first of this species is a recent characo: who's number you could use as well) for "inspiring species", then input whatever flower you want in "protrusions", and you're good to go :). If enough people show interest, I'll make a name for the species.
Alternatively, if you put the flower in "inspiring species", I'd make a new type of flower snake (if you choose naga as "locomotion"). Lot's of fun options and combos I have :)
Thank you for your kind words, time, and interest!

I actually got the chance to thoroughly comb over all the neat little options of your form, and reading your comment here just now.... I ended up coming with an idea/combo that will differ from this original concept quite a bit... I'm totally stoked for my paycheck next week to try my hand at 'fydbac character lotto', haha.
Thanks so much for explaining a bit more!
I went over your options and f.a.q. , but I was left with one single question, if you don't mind. (Well, one question and one clarification.)
I am definitely wanting a flower bro. But my question has to do with an additional concept that I've been trying to find someone to give justice to for awhile now.
Q: Is it against your terms to request a characo based around a species that already has a firmly set list of identifiers as far as 'looks' go? i.e.; I am looking to find someone to do a cool ass artist's liberal take on DnD's Silver Dragon in a bipedal/humanoid form. (I hope that's not worded too awfully.)
My last blurb is just me making sure from what I read on your commission table but, you are almost always open for characo sketches, am I correct?
(Soooo sorry for hijacking this page!! >.<)

Thank you very much for taking the time to read through my info!
1:
If by "firmly set list of identifiers" you mean minute details that make an individual and not a species, yes, it would be against the terms. Only species are allowed in characo, (so you wouldn't be allowed to say something like "DnD's [blank]")
I'm not familiar with DnD beyond knowing it's a game: so I'm not sure if their silver dragon is a character or a species. If species, then best to just say "dragon" or "western dragon", and provide silvery colors.
Some of my other sketch services are best for such design exploration on established mainstream characters. (the chart can help with that)
2:
I don't think I've closed the characo form since I first set it up years ago. "Almost always"? No. Just always :)
I'd probably only have to close it if my career fails (not enough clients to support me), or one of my other fields become too booked and I have no time for it (well...in that case, characo would become a service that is opened periodically, rather than indefinitely).
As long as it's not in my F.a.q., I welcome all questions :) No "sorry" needed :) Thank you for asking before submitting anything!

You're so polite and kind! I really appreciate that! If you would rather have this conversation through email, please let me know!
Do forgive me as I try to explain more about what I mean without seeming like I'm rambling, haha.
In DnD there are 8 very specific breeds of 'main' dragons. Each are a different color, and have traits about them that make them different than the other dragons. They are all separate species, with none of them having a particular character or licensed/copyrighted individual that they belong to. They are a broad type of species, much like drow/dark elves are.
(A Google search of DnD silver dragon will pop up with tons of images on just what a silver dragon looks like, but I don't want to be rude and post links in your submission.) They have specific features, such as a lot of facial 'fringes', overly large wings, a set of fringed spikes that go down the lengths of their entire bodies/tails, and of course- bodies of silver scales.
My original question and how it pertains to this is; I am wanting to have a character created for me using silver dragon's outstanding features with artist's own reign/interpretation translating that onto a humanoid/bipedal form of a dragon. I hope I've made that more clear. (I'm so fail at language sometimes)
Would this be something more suited to a 'day' sketch? The reason the characo appealed to me in this sense, was the many options for the features of the character specifically. But if you feel a day sketch would be more suited, I'd be more than happy to go that route.
A final question for now; in your characo form you list options for an outfit and underwear for an additional charge, but is there a way to get an additional outfit to those options with an additional charge (technically totalling to three outfits)?
Thank you kindly.

Concerning the dragon: It's best that my previous mention still applies. If it has no name besides "silver dragon" without adding DnD, I wouldn't consider it a species. Adding DnD to the front makes it a character to me, not a species. I don't think any entity (company, property, individual, etc.) has a right to lay species claim on an adjective + general noun: if it's really a species, it'll have a species name. Heh, it's like saying, " this is a species called 'red dog', it has very distinct features...just google 'red dog'".
Yes, more suited to day-sketch (or even overnight (open today) and stream). Suggestion: it's best you just describe those things in the "written description only" of the char ref, (no web link of reference). Most of my sketch services has that category. There is a gallery folder here with "wdo" designs if interested to see ( with most, I can supply the description I was given if you ask in that submission, so you can see how I interpreted).
final question: In the same form? No. At this time, any second outfit is a surprise "gift" for if I'm late in delivery. For more than one outfit, I'd suggest using my "tailor-made" service. (where you could use said characo as the mannequin (a $free option) + you have more client input on said fashion design).

I'm so terribly sorry but I have one last question. (Last one I swear!)
Would I be permitted to submit an order form for a 'tailor-made' sketch at the same time as a 'characo', with whatever results from the characo being the mannequin for the tailor-made sketch?
Or would you prefer that I not?
I just figured while you're working on the character, that it be convenient to add additional outfits. If this is something you're not comfortable with, I totally understand.

Best to save it till AFTER the characo is finished: As the tailor-made deadline would not be able to start until I know what the mannequin will look like. Not submitting the order at the same time as the characo, will save me the trouble of sending a "check-in" email to see if you are still interested in the tailor-made. Thank you for the consideration in asking before hand!
