A commission story for
Kent Badger about how his Womble OC Kent (Along with some Wombles from the original show) ends up going missing one by one, and he simply wants to try and save his friends.
This was a pretty fun story to make.
It was all based on an old British book series (And stop motion TV-Show) for kids, and trying to tell the narrative as a fairytale made it extra fun.
For those wondering how Kent looks like then you can find a link to him here: http://www.furaffinity.net/view/17294127/

I hope you all enjoy reading this.
A long time ago in a far away forest lived a peaceful little group of creatures called the Wombles.
There was Bungo, who was always know to be very curious and happy for exploring.
Orinoco, who could always be found sleeping away the day in all kinds of strange places.
Tomsk, that was the big strong one. (And also the easiest one to trick.)
Wellington, the all knowing and well studied. (If a bit easy to distract from time to time.)
And also being a part of the group was little Kent, who was the youngest and smallest of the Wombles. He wished to be a real adventure, but given how he was the smallest of the Wombles he was often seen by the others as the "Child" that always needed their protection.
What made a Womble a Womble was their all grey fuzzy fur, their long pointy noses, and that they all where only 4 feet tall. (With Kent as the exception as he was 3 feet in lenght.)
The Womble group all lived in perfect harmony as they had all their own tree houses, and was friends with all the nice animals that they could meet.
But that was all about to change when one day an unknowing terror would be striking the Womble's forest!
It all started with Orinoco one day not being with the others for their late night supper, that they always had together. At first the other Wombles simply thought that it was once again Orinoco being away napping so much that he had forgot what time of the day it was and would soon be back for his portion of their "Forest Soup", that they put in a little bowl and kept onto the side for him to have later.
But as the sun started to go down for the day the rest of the Wombles started to get really worried for him. A Womble staying outside during darkness was simply unheard of, as it was during the night the most dangerous of predatory animals would come out!
Kent wanted to rush out and try to find his Womble brother, but the others stopped him from leaving his home and instead told him that they would all be out looking for Orinoco tomorrow together, as that would be the safest way for everyone.
Kent still felt mighty worried for Orinoco's sake, and the other Wombles decided to therefore spend the night with little Kent so that he wouldn't feel so lonely and scared.
The next morning the remaining Wombles was making a scout mission to head out deep into the woods and try to find Orinoco, who they assumed had been finding a safe place to hide in while waiting for his friends to save him.
To be able to cover more grounds during the course of one day the 4 Womble strong group decided to split up in two teams.
Kent and Bungo walked together as one team, and Tomsk and Wellington walked together as the other team.
Splitting up the team of Tomsk and Wellington thought to themselves as the most "winning combination" to find the missing Orinoco, since they had both the strongest and smartest of the Womble's to work together.
But Wellington's weakness for sudden analysing of the environment became very clear when he stopped dead in his tracks to look closer at some very odd footprints that had been left in the muddy ground.
Things didn't go any better with him being the Womble behind in the group, and Tomsk at the start not noticing his friend's sudden stop and instead continued to walk on straight forward.
"Hmm. I wonder if these strange tracks can have anything with Orinoco's sudden disappearance?" Wellington thought to himself before deciding to start following them, as he thought finding the source of the tracks would be helpful into also finding the missing Orinoco.
In the meanwhile Bungo was trying his hardest to keep up with little Kent, who really did find it amazing to finally be out in the wild and exploring around in areas he had never sat his foot on before.
Being only a kid he had no problems gaining up the speed to quickly outrun his team partner, and pretty soon found himself walking around in the colourful woods all by himself.
As he wandered along he suddenly heard the sound of a branch snapping from being stomped on, and turning around he almost started to scream for one second. (Fearing for it to be a very hungry predator coming to get him!)
But as he looked around he couldn't seem to see anything at first. That's when a loud snort could be heard, and looking up Kent got a little surprised to see that it was a big horse starring down at him!
For someone as small as Kent almost all animals would be seen as giants in his eyes, but this horse truly was gigantic!
Standing almost 7 feet tall he was defiantly more then twice the height of little Kent, and the horse just seemed to find the small Womble to be a very strange looking creature as it was lowering it's head and seemingly checking how Kent was smelling.
The horse was standing behind some thick bushes so Kent could only see up to it's withers before having the rest of it hidden.
When Kent got curious on wanting to walk around and the see the rest of the big horse he seemed to almost scare the thing by trying to get closer, and the Womble kid instead tried to stay still to show that he wasn't dangerous.
The horse then started to lower it's head down towards Kent when suddenly the voice of Bungo could be heard shouting for his missing team-mate, and the sudden sound scared the big horse away.
"No! Wait! Come back!" Kent shouted as his new friend vanished, and before he could try to take after it Bungo had shown up and took a hard grip into little Kent's hand so that he wouldn't run away again.
"We must return to our village now, as the sun will settle soon and the other team is probably waiting worriedly for us now." Bungo said as he dragged the kid Womble back towards home now.
Upon returning Wellington asked if the others had been having any luck finding Orinoco, to which Bungo explained now he had been having to spend most of the day trying to find Kent when he had run away from him.
"I didn't have much of luck myself as the mystical trail that I followed took me around many steeps and hills until I found myself back from where I had just started. It had been taking me around a big circle, that's what it did!" Wellington said as he was very disappointed with what a waste of time his one clue for finding the missing Womble had been.
"Wait a second! Wasn't Tomsk with you also?" Bungo asked, to which Wellington first now noticed that he had never seen his own partner since he was following along his own clue.
"I thought that he had simply been behind me this whole time! Or was he suppose to be...in front of me?" He asked before realising what a foolish mistake he had been making. "Oh dear. This is bad!"
"So now we have two missing Wombles out in the forest?" Kent asked, to which Bungo answered with a very worried "Yes, and by the looks of things the sun will be setting yet again very soon."
"Guess we just have to try and make a new expedition into the woods tomorrow then." Wellington said as the three remaining Wombles had to go to their beds now, and despite their own worries actually go to sleep and hope that tomorrow would be the day when they would find both their friends again.
Safe and Unharmed hopefully.
The very next morning Bungo, Wellington, and Kent all knew that being trapped out in the wilderness for two nights is more then what any Womble should be forced to do, so they swore to not return back to their homes until they had their friends back safe again!
As they all entered the forest they swear to this time keep themselves close to each other, and not let anyone go out of their sight.
And for a while it seemed to work pretty well as they all three was keeping both a good look after their missing friends, and each other.
But once again it was Wellington that seemed to find something that interested himself mostly, and he even decided to quickly abandon his group so that he could look closer at it.
It was the same tracks from yesterday, but these ones looked a lot more fresh, as if whatever had been making them had been here just recently.
"This time I might have a chance to track it!" Wellington thought as he took off, and it was first once he had started to run that Bungo and Kent noticed that he was not with them anymore.
"Wellington!" Bungo shouted as both he and Kent tried to catch up to the third Womble.
It became a very intense chase as it always seemed that the booksmart Womble would always be just out of reach for the others to see him, and many times they instead would have to go with the sounds he was making in order to know at which direction he had taken.
Unfortunately they ended up eventually losing sight of Wellington completely, and Bungo was just about to ask what to do next when a loud scream from just Wellington could be heard!
Bungo knew he needed to save his friend but he still also feared for Kent's safety, so he told the little guy to just stay where he was while he himself went off to try and save Wellington.
"Bungo! I want to help too!" Little Kent shouted before realising that there was no responds at all coming back.
"B-Bungo?" Kent asked carefully as he decided to walk over to where he had seen his fellow Womble run off, and to his horror saw that there had been a huge fight just a few moments ago!
There was trees knocked over, rocks smashed to pieces, and the muddy ground looked like someone had been dragged along as something had left the place.
"Bungo!" Kent shouted as he started to follow the muddy tracks in hope of finding his Womble friends, and eventually he reached the end of it all.
In an open area he had found what looked like an old abandoned barn, and the muddy trail was leading straight towards it.
He did feel very scared over what could possibly be inside of it, but Kent also knew that if he just ran away now then his Womble friends would be all doomed!
So he took a deep breath, pushed open the big barn doors, and...found that horse from yesterday?
He only saw the rear view from the thing as he entered, but given that same giant height and colour of it Kent could easily tell it was that same horse from before.
Feeling that he could let his guard down Kent walked over casually and said "Hey Horse! How are you doing?..." before seeing the horse turning around and seeing something very odd.
From the side he could for the first time see just what a HUGE balloon formed belly the horse was carrying, but also on the very side of it was 4 face marks of Wombles!
His four friends had all been eaten by this giant horse!
That was the terror from the woods!
Kent suddenly felt a lot less safe of being in the same place as the big horse, and with him now knowing the horse's secret it was very clear that the horse would not let him leave!
The horse was suddenly looking more like a terrifying monster as it was looking at Kent as it's next meal, and the poor Womble child tried his hardest to run away but sadly ended up slipping on the dirty barn floor!
Lowering it's head and opening it's mouth Kent could almost see and hear the sound of his Womble brothers all calling for him to save them, but at the moment Kent didn't even know how to save himself!
The horse then showed a very unexpected side as it let out a series of sticky strings (Almost a bit like Spider Web in a way) all over the defenceless Womble before starting to use them to pull him into it's mouth!
Trapped in the net Kent could do nothing by pointlessly struggle as he came closer and closer to Horse mouth!
He then could feel the hard cold teeth and the big wet tongue touch all over him as he was being pulled deeper and deeper inside, before feeling how he was about to enter down the throat!
From the far back of the mouth Kent could still see a small ray of sunlight from his one tiny window to the outside world, before starting to feel how he was about to enter into a world of total darkness.
As he was starting to get pulled deeper and deeper into the deep insides of this evil horse Kent felt more afraid then ever before, and that he was just going to let it end with the horse getting exactly what it wanted.
As he was about to be swallowed down he could feel how those disgusting strings around him started to disappear, and when being fully able to move on his own a sudden idea popped into his head!
Since the horse had been swallowing Wombles larger then him before that meant that none of them had been able to do anything until reaching the big stomach, but since Kent was so small that meant that he could move much more freely in the throat.
So when the horse didn't expect it Kent suddenly shoot out his arms and legs, and ended up becoming a huge plug for the beast's air breathing!
The giant horse started to stomp around annoyed at first, but as time went on and the air inside was becoming less and less the horse knew that there was no other way to fix it then by coughing up that tine Womble again.
But since that was a cause of action that the macro equine had never been experiencing before it didn't stop once Kent was out, but instead started to have all the rest of the previously caught Wombles coming back up!
Bungo, Wellington, Tomsk, Orinoco, all of the missing Wombles came popping out one after one unharmed from the mouth of the horse, as it's belly lost face-icon after face-icon and gradually started to shrink down in size.
When finally feeling like it could stop throwing up it's food the big horse looked down at itself, and was horrified by how incredibly skinny and empty it's stomach was!
It had literally lot everything that it had been gaining from these last few days, and it was all that one tiny Womble's fault!
The horse was just about to try and crush the little Kent under it's hooves for ruining everything, when it saw how all the previously swallowed Wombles was quickly up on their feet again, and was now looking ready to fight back at the horse all on one!
Being now way to weak in order to take on a whole group of enemies at the same time the giant horse made a big leap over the Womble group, smashed open the barn doors, and then disappeared deep into the woods. (Never to be seen from ever again.)
With the Womble eating creature finally gone and all the missing Wombles saved Kent was from then on never seen as the "small child" of the group, but instead forever known as being "The Smartest, Strongest, and most Brave of all the Wombles that had ever been seen!"
And with that the group of Wombles lived happily ever after.
