Abuse creates abusers. And the circle of violence and brokenness continues. A parent has the power to completely destroy a person even before they really had a chance to become themselves.
Well written. It was an experience. I was never physically abused... but still... Little bit too close to home. I might have to lie down for a bit after this. Good work.
