An astonishing image. Quite superb. The texture of the snow, the almost-monochrome palette (except for those eyes, of course!), the notion of Jon and Ghost merged into this entity... and I haven't seen any of series 6 yet!
I love that you didn't over-detail this piece. It didn't need it – the boldness of the rendering just adds to the 'punch'. Anyone on the receiving end of this charge wouldn't see the details; they'd just get the overall impression of the forms (and an overwhelming desire to RUN AWAYYYY). And I'm no visual artist, but I must say the perspective on the horse looks just right. How long does it take, I wonder, to master difficult 'head on' subjects like this?

Awww gosh! Thank you so much Anhedral! I have to admit, I really enjoyed doing something less detailed and with a more abstract background. I think in my past I have certainly over detailed things. It is my goal in my coming works to leave more abstract that which doesn't need it, especially for dynamic pieces and to suggest movement. Goals: Movement, light, simplicity, composition.

I really love that you made Jon Snow (one of my top favorite characters) into a realistic white wolf. So cool!
Even the whole painting itself is really astonishing. Everything you did on the character, horse, snow, lining, coloring, and shadowing makes it a very realistic painting. I even love how it's a captured moment with the horse in midair galloping with wolf Jon Snow caught in the moment of his fighting charge stance and face.
One of the best anthro GoT fan art I have seen here on FA.
