Hiragana and Katakana is easier to learn.

Yes it is! but I see so many romaji books out there, and I want to just cry. Granted it's quick and easy, but it can kill pronunciation and slow down the learning process later on. *sorry rant*

Kanji is difficult as there's thousands of those characters. x.x

Why, no. I haven't.

If you don't have a time lapse flash program , it is really useful! There are a lot of premade decks a available.
Most people taking the JLPTs that I knew used it. I used it. It can be a tiny bit tricky at first, but really speed up my learning.

Yes, but you can tweak them however you want. With so many Kanji to learn it's nice because it'll go back over ones that you've studied previously periodically, so you don't forget them, and then really hit you hard with things that aren't sticking well.

I learned never take an online Japanese class through college in summer semester because it's only 4-6 weeks long and by the 3rd week you are introduced to kanji -w- yeah

Oh god I remember learning hiragana and katakana. A lot of people in our class had trouble remembering katakana but I found it easier.

Actually I still forget my katakana at times! I hardly use it, but so useful when ordering drinks at resturaunts XD
Was hiragana easy for you too?

Hiragana was a little harder. It took me a while to remember む　and my professors were always picky about how I wrote some of the other characters.

Just checking but are you are only teaching how to read and write in Japanese not necessarily how to pronounce it?

Don't mind me I'm cracking up laughing because the pic of you reminds me I used to be nicknamed the professor because I sounded like one. I used to care for kids after school including teaching.
