THESE TAKE MUCH LONGER TO WRITE THAN INITIALLY ANTICIPATED.
Still, here we are, with part 3! I went on holiday in the middle of writing this one, so I'm gonna blame that for how long this one took. And time to start thinking of excuses for however long it will take to finish up part 4 - the finale of the episode!
Once more, two fights, starting off this time with Fatih Giray vs Denise, which was incredibly fun to write. I didn't just want every match in this to be pure match - I felt it important to start building characters. So the set-up of Fatih against Denise seemed a prime opportunity to really have some fun with that! Fatih is incredibly fun to write for, go figure.
Alex vs Maverick I'm less happy with. Trying to get the hang of writing chain-wrestling better. I think once I got past that it sorta worked out alright, but that opening segment is definitely an area I need to focus on in writing these.
Oh, and one last thing, had people sorta ask how I'm organising this! Essentially, these first few matches, and the first couple of title tournament things are pretty much random. Random match-ups with random victors, with only the occasional tweak to the brackets if I get an idea I really want to go for. Beyond that, all of this randomness is primarily to give us some set-up and get a playing field set in stone. From then on, the writing will be more controlled and directed, with more outcomes actively decided and such. Basically, seeing where people/characters fall in the initial set-up stage we're in now. Following that? Gonna get to play with whatever lands!
