Here's Hera Syndulla of " Star Wars, Rebels " fame. She flies their ship, the Ghost and pretty much wears the pants in the family of rebels. Her dad was in " The Clone Wars " show. I think those hamburgers on the sides of her head cover her head horns cuz I think female twi-leks have horns on the sides of their heads. Ears though, I dunno if they have those.

Well, those silly things are called Lekku or head tails. I'm not sure how much info has carried over from Legends into canon, but this is what I do know. They're an erogenous zone and sensitive, never tug on a Twi'lek's tails... at least not very hard. They serve as part of the brain cavity and have very subtle movement that other Twi's use for communication. I kinda think of it as when you see someone smile from behind and their ears raise up, you don't have to see the smile to know they are. Female Twi's have ear cones and often cover them with something, though I'm not exactly sure why. Males have normal ears. Also, this really isn't canon, but some nifty trivia, Twi'lek comes from the pairing of two words, 'twice' (or two) and 'Lekku', so Twi'lek becomes Two Tails :D
