Endless Realms - Astral Guardian
Corebook artwork for Endless Realms, a D&D-like "pen and paper" fantasy RPG I'm working for.
A Valenti Gatekeeper, astral guardians of the passages between realms. Part of a larger composition, posted because I thought the Valenti looked good on its own :)

Heh, some, but most were from stock photography :b I got a few decent shots of the Milky Way while camping a few years back that I'll typically use, hehe.
I'd loooove a space room! That sounds awesome - just need some cool glowy lights to go in it! <333 Should post pictures when you're done :3

Awww, that's awesome! Yeah, I'd totally do stuff like that, too, hehe :3 Making me sort of jealous XD Always wanted a space room. Or a jungle room. Jungle room would be awesome, too - would totally need to make DIY glowing mushroom lamps! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D5LjGFkpApw
I plan to come up with custom lighting of some sort.
My three kids share a room and it needs to be nice and calming. The youngest two have so much trouble falling asleep, I figured nice and dark with lots of things to look at should be calming. Twinkly lights.. oh yes. We're an autistic family, so I've got my share of occupational therapy in and know aaaaall about sensory rooms. So that's what we're going for.
Right now they have a trampoline in it and a swing and we used to have a ballpit but they kept disassembling it... Planning on building atleast a new ballpit in there.. but the trampoline needs to go into the living area. Too much wildness for night time.
That sounds really wonderful <3 Oh, on a vaguely related note, have you seen these? http://www.stimtastic.co/ Don't know if they'd interest anyone in your family, but I always thought that idea was excellent :)
Wow, your kids' room sounds baller :V I'm jealous XD I didn't have anything particularly cool in my room, except for maybe the occasional giant cardboard box fort :V Then again, we did have a backyard pool where I spent ALL my summer hours as a kid, so I guess I can't complain X3

Oh wow those are cool! I want one of those for myself *laugh*
Hah, I didn't have a cool room either, did love cardboard forts though. My youngest son is pretty severely autistic, the rest of us are just pleasantly weird. So we had to modify the house for him.. Keep him happy, keep everyone else happy. He practically lives in his swing.
https://www.amazon.com/Ekorre-Swing...../dp/B002XPNMFU (only $40 at Ikea)
We put a bean bag in it instead of the inflatable cushion after he bit a hole in it
He likes that even better, so win-win.

lol, pleasantly weird <3 Jen approves :3
I know a heavily autistic guy, he shows up camping every year at the same place we go, Casey's known him his whole life via camping :b But yeah, he had a swing chair they'd always set up for him, and he basically lived in it every summer until it broke :b That was a few years ago now (he's probably 24 or something now?)
I'd love that swing :b Anything I can nest in is <3 and if it floats or rocks or swings, even better :V
lol, he ate a hole in his cushion? Well, I pick giant holes in a blanket I had - then I'd try to sew the holes back together, but I had to "train" myself to stop ripping the fabric-nubs off (which I love doing >_>) because it's not so much a blanket now as shreds of a blanket stuck together XD
... I'm not autistic. Just super neurotic and super eccentric @_@ lol

A lot of folks find out they're on the spectrum later in life, I know I did. I had no idea about autism until my son.. and then I realize I was too. Just never as severe as him.
For shits 'n giggles, just take the aspie test You never know! http://www.rdos.net/eng/Aspie-quiz.php
My husband is also autistic. Makes total sense. We just never knew that was what it was, ya know? We're just happy weirdo geeks. We mesh well because we're unified 'eccentric'. All of the kids are on the spectrum. I wouldn't know what to do with a typical kid, I think. We all would rather play a board game than go to a party. But yeah, middle guy is severe. Pretty much non-verbal, but such a smart guy. Adore that boy.
He loves fleece blankets. He picks at holes, sticks his thumb through, wraps it around his fingers, sucks on it, chews on it. They're in tatters *laugh*

There's some overlap inevitably - mostly neuroticism and social issues - but those stem from my personality disorder rather than from autism. On the other hand, my husband identifies with autistic people and the way they process information, emotions, and other people, but would never be considered as having it as he doesn't outwardly display any features of it :V
Between the two of us, though, I'm definitely the more eccentric one :V At least people seem to accept the "I'm an artist, I have to be eccentric!" line :V

HNNNNGHGHGHGHGGHHH....
Sorry, I'm having an Eye-Gasm. Is there any way to get this as a full-size wall-scroll? It's GORGEOUS. I have three things on my wall, and one of them is a family reunion picture, another is my black-belt certification, and the last is personal.
Yours would make four things on my wall.
