Guardians of the Sands—by Deriaz
To understand these demigods and this magic that has entered my world, I need to walk among them. I have found a few who choose not to flaunt their power for the sake of causing misery and asserting dominance, and among those, some have offered to be teachers. This Anubis has been very willing to teach me how to connect more deeply with the magical forces all around us, and I can feel them coursing through me. I truly feel dominant sitting alongside my companion… and I think our little visitor perceives as much too!
