Oh, I don't know. Nick did mention that there were no night howlers in the bouquet. Since, in a previous comic, Judy did eat a night howler berry and went crazy, I would guess that he figured she was going to eat the flowers. What I found funny was the fact that Judy asked if he wanted some of the flowers to eat.
I don't know about that. However, I do know that I read that cats, I guess they were referring to domestic cats, can't digest vegetable matter and, for that reason, they can only eat meat. I believe that what I read also said that the reason cats eat grass and other vegetable matter was for the same reason we eat lettuce, to clean out their digestive tract and/or remove hairballs.
Pretty sure they're still Pred-Prey species in the Howard movie. Birds aren't anthro OR Sentient in the Zootopia universe.
It's Hilariously adorable to see Judy's reaction to seeing the flowers though, and sweet to see how Nick knows Judy so well. The part where she's eating the flowers like popcorn is downright adorable though.

I can't understand how Night Howlers aren't a controlled botanical in Zootopia's world.
Great start to another comic, Eric! I'm breaking with the majority to say that "A shady-looking fox at my door" was my favourite moment.
But Howard the Duck!? Maybe it's a Marvel reboot... And Nick bought it off Duke Weaselton who has "movies that haven't even been released yet."
And just to change the subject, I hope at some point Stu & Bonnie do find out that Nick is more than just a workmate to Judy.

It was a deleted scene in the movie. Watch here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l-pWwVM7-jc
Nice comic :)
I saw Howard last year again, after eeehm 20 years? Such a waste of time :D It's really a trash-movie.
Here is my colored version of the comic:

Remember to eat the entire flower, not just the blossoms. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xDjkmUsPMcc
so in Zootopia you bring your girlfriend a Salad...or are flowers the equivalent of junk food? Also Howard the Duck being a movie that still exists in their world actually makes just as much sense as anything else. After all since only mammals are anthros in their world having fictitious anthropomorphic ducks in their cartoons and movies would be pretty much the same as us...oh! Maybe in Zootopia Mickey is a lizard or something!
