I've said this at least once before, but I'm done writing for the fandom. It's pretty frustrating to put several days into the planning and writing of a story only to have it totally ignored once it's posted.
Furry is a totally visual culture. Sketch artists, digital artists and fursuit designers all get hordes of watchers, comments and faves for the simplest submission while writers and musicians get the shaft. I guess I shouldn't be surprised. Anyone who's visited a forum knows that the ability to write is pretty valueless to furries.

I agree with the writing thing.
People looks at text and say "Oh... That's too long..."
Which brings me to journals... Sometimes people put more text in their journals than in any story.

Well, I like a good furry story now and then, but I have to be in the right frame of mind - reading one is a lot more in-depth than looking at a picture. Generally I like to read one close to when I go to bed. So I'll save some of your stories and check them out soon. =)
