Kitkat is a special skull to me. I found a decomposing cat in the grass near the exit driveway of a nearby strip mall, and as over the months no one claimed them, I decided to. They were most likely a stray, although how they ended up in the grass there, how no one had decided to get rid of their body (it was absolutely out in the open and badly decomposed/mummified by the time I found it) and how they died are all still a mystery.
I was able to recover their skull, their entire spine from the axis/atlas bones down to the pelvic spine bones (no tail bones, maybe one), along with most of the bones of the front legs, toe bones and claws, and other odd bones (ribs, hind leg bones, etc).
The stump Kitkat sits on is special as well - it is the stump of a chestnut tree that I had for years but eventually had to chop down last year. The mushrooms have been a nice touch.
I'm attempting to keep a decently updated tumblr of my collection (and possibly other vulture culture things) at http://admaioremossisgloriam.tumblr.com/ if you're inclined to follow
