Mrish were first thought up probably in the early 80s, so Skiltaire have been around longer. I didn't know about skiltaire until years later, and mrish have gone though a bunch of evolutions. Originally they were essentially skunk men but have become more quadrupedal and have had a bit of other species mixed in since then. They've never been as nonanthro as skiltaire and there are many other differences but they are a pretty happy go lucky race who get along well with most people. I'm sure they would get along fine with electric technicolor space weasels. 83
