Here's some Bebop & Rocksteady fanart that I drew a few months back for my Krokotrash tumblr. Took a little bit of ‘87, IDW, and ‘16 B&R, and added a few of my own little flourishes. They’re just a couple of silly, weird, 80s/90s-obsessed, slightly-annoying 35-yr-old dweebs who tend to fail at their schemes to try to get rich and famous quick.

Bebop is a major 80s/90s fanatic with a huge collection of old VHS tapes of cult movies from said era and stylishly-colored shades. He does tend to change the color of his hair every few months; purple and blue are his favorites. He's the more outgoing, witty, and expressive of the duo, usually getting into trouble by running his mouth too much. Rocksteady is a tattoo-loving weapons aficionado who is very protective of Bebop. Rocko loves wearing tank tops a size or two smaller, saying that it shows off his pecs, but he really does it to make his Boppy squirm. Rocko's usually very quiet around people he doesn't know, but he can be as rambunctious as Bebop when he gets to know ya. They're not as dim-witted at the ‘87 versions, but not as violent as the IDW versions, though they’ve had their moments in either direction.

This version of Bebop and Rocksteady aren't shy about keeping their relationship together a secret. They love each other so much and had to deal with so much in their past to be bothered by what others think of them. Now that they're huge mutant beasts with sharp pointy horns and tusks, them being gay is a rather moot point. Gotta problem with it?
