In this page I tried to make something different, I did a research of how birds learn to fly and I tried to replicate it in this comic.
Hope that you enjoy it.

If you are asking about the his class then yes, Skrills belong to the Strike type, the same group than night furies
I haven't see the show in a long time but I have to update myself and I have hear a very good coments of the show, also you are right from what I have hear you are right Dagur is a madman but I also hear that he had some character development, and I'm curious to know what it's about.

He's a psychopath, a narcissist, and surprisingly intelligent. He starred as the villain of Race to the Edge, but even tho Riders and Defenders of Berk aren't on Netflix, it's obvious he had a major role in them - most likely the central villain, given his personal hatred towards Hiccup, a feeling that's mutual.
You listed the reasons why I chose him as the main character of this comic, I thought that of all the characters in the series he was one of the most complex and interesting ones to work on, after all those defects do not come from nothing, also those defects can be used as a base for a great character development, that is what I intended to do with this comic.
Well Thank you, I am humbled that I could change your perception of him, I will try to keep doing it so you can enjoy seeing an alternate story.
I agree with you, he has all the characteritics to be a sociopath, even I touch a little of that in the remake of the 1st chapter that I am doing, he has all that defects but what I want to do is to make the reader understand that there is a reason for that and maybe don't be so quickly to judge

Race to the Edge takes place 2 years before HTTYD2 and is centered around Hiccup and the other Riders defending a place called Dragon's Edge. It definitely wasn't the likeliest place for a settlement, but after they befriended the Night Terrors there (they look like bigger versions of Terrible Terrors, but they come together to scare off predators as a giant black dragon) it was like paradise.
One thing I can't make sense of is Heather and Windshear. They went in search of a mysterious rider and Dragon reported to be sinking and looting ships, but when they finally catch the dragon they learn it's actually Heather, an old friend who had bonded with the Sharp class Razor Whip Dragon Wind Shear in the 3 years since they last saw her.
Well I have some issues with Heather and I haven’t thought in a way to solve it, when I started to write the comic I knew that Dagur had a sister but in that moment Heather hadn’t been revealed as his sister so I writed all the story around my version of his sister and now my version is so ingrained in the story that I can’t replace her with heather, however I also want to include her but I don’t know how, any advice here is welcome.
In the show, Hiccup gets it in his head that HE'S Heather's brother after finding a horn among her belongings with Stoic's (that's his dad) seal on it, but Heather disappears before he can ask her about it so he instead confronts his dad. His dad reveals that even tho thats his seal, he gave the horn as a peace offering to Oswald the Agreeable, who then gave it to his blood daughter. Oswald was Dagur's father, which means Heather is Dagur's sister since she said she got that horn from her real father - whom she remembers next to nothing about.
I just remembered something: in the episode 'A Time to Skrill' the Skrill Hiccup imprisoned on Outcast Island escaped - and Dagur was convinced it belonged to him, for some reason. It cared more about tearing Hiccup limb from limb than fighting Dagur (Skrills are infamous for holding grudges - especially when they're trapped in a cave for 3 years), but much like spazzlebacks they believe in life debts - and it will be unlikely to ever forget Hiccup releasing it instead of re-imprisoning it at the end of that episode.
I tried to think about Oswald having two daughters but until now I haven't be able to flesh out an idea, I am revising all the plot so I can find a hole that Heather can fill.
I remember that chapter, it is a breakdown because it showed that skrill are not untamable, it was a very fun episode and I remember it fondly.
