Old piece from about a year ago, done with ink washes and pen on watercolor paper.
Kilo is a kind of myth shaman. He travels aimlessly around the world, carrying a sack which (supposedly) carries a thousand skulls in it. Once every few years, or sometimes more, depending on what the skulls decide, Kilo places one down at one of the places he visits, and leaves it. From its surroundings, it grows flesh and a body, and this is how mythological creatures come into existence.
When Kilo places down his thousandth skull, he will be allowed to die, and a new myth shaman will arise from the final skull.
