So one day ronsi wakes up and says HEY LET'S GO COLOR SOMETHING!
Completely uncaring of not having handled a pencil in the last 14 years, and knowing that he' s a 3d artist and not a drawer, ronsi downloaded a lineart from FA, opened gimp... And due to some warp paradox we are yet to understand, somehow achieved at painting and shading the whole thing o.0''
Took about 3 hours, maybe a bit more. Only used gimp 2.8. Hardest part was definetly the buildings, and the fact that I had no idea on how to shade lights and shadows... Wich is why shadows look kinda wonky. I will definetly keep practicing 2d sketching and coloring... I need those to make my 3d art easier anyway.
If the source file for this was not sitting on my hard drive, I would not believe I actually made this...
Honestly though: Pack of wolves with paws the size of football fields carefully walking trough a town without damaging anyone or anything? Just too cute not to color : 3

It looks good, man! I like the colors you chose for the buildings, not too garish and not too bland either. I also like how the wolves in the back looks softer, as if some of the atmosphere is making them look faded a tad big since they're so huge and far away.
My only critique would be to vary the line weight on the frontmost wolf a little. Have the lines taper near the ends and see if you can smooth them out a little bit. It's not a huge thing, but it would make it a little cleaner.
If you're having fun with this, then I'd definitely say keep at it!

I have to say that outlining and coloring is easy and relaxing as a thing so yeah I will definetly keep up at this, I already asked some friends for something to color whenever I feel like it. Real deal right now is learning to make linearts of my own... Aka I need to overdraw a lot of things before I become able to draw lines fast by eye, that's my next step.
In the meantime, I was proposed to try hybridizing 2d and 3d, use 3d ambients with 2d drawn characters. With some proper "draconian" perspective and a couple of filters for the ambient render this can give quite nice results. I have so much stuff i'm working on right now I don't even know where to start... Hopefully I have something interesting in the coming days.

Alright, I corrected the fat line issue. I also applied gaussian filters to the outlines, accidentally simulating depth of field... This is to be remembered for the future. Multiple layers in order from first plane to background where to apply different levels of gaussian distortion to simulate depth of field in a 2d image. Mh...
