Awsome. I wish I could have gotten the transparent Starscream a long time ago. Getting that would have been awsome... the whole Ghost thing....

I ordered animated Starscream, should get him by next month. I'd pick up some of the others, but honestly, some of the jet designs frm the 3D show rub me the wrong way

I am not a fan of the Animated line. It's sort of the same thing with the DC stuff they made for Justice leaug and stuff. It's too blocky and mis perportioned. The toys reflect that. If they would have stayed better animated, I would likely be a follower myself

I gotta disagree on a friendly note with ya there. I find them the most show accurate toys of any franchise I've ever picked up, the proportions I quite like and what I love most about them is that most of the figures are virtually kibble free.

Isn't there a version of Starscream that comes with the crown and cape he wore for his coronation/subsequent execution? Could swear I saw such somewhere but of course my memory is having none of that ' total crystal clear recall' malarkey.

no, that's why they make the cape and crown. It's made by Fansproject who are not affiliated with hasbro, though some online retailers sell a bundled kit of Masterpeice Starscream with the Fansproject set. Fansproject is so under the radar they can't use the proper names, so they have to call it "Screamer's Coronation Set"

I just bought Ironhide and Hound today. Ravage comes with hound, and has a TAPE MODE. Does that mean they're hinting towards an authentic Soundwave classic remake?

Actually, there's a soundlabel brand liscenced Soundwave replica that's totally G1 accurate and doubles as an MP3 player....his tape slot holds an SD card.

Thing about the Ravage though is that he's far too big to fit inside a deluxe class soundwave toy. My assumption was that the Hound figure used too little plastic to be considered a deluxe, so they filled in the quota by throwing ravage in. A lot of people have said oh "they had a rivalry in early episodes." Bullshit. Hound caught ravage in like, ONE episode. That's not a rivalry.
