The Mayweather Class Transport/Tug was developed as a means of moving priority containers from one place to another. The main purpose for the Mayweather Class, though, was to transport MACO container pods to battle zones. The design is named after the famed Mayweather family, of whom Travis Mayweather was a member.

Considering how backstabby the mirror mirror Empire universe is, I find imagining the politics and betrayals on board a -tug- to be quite humorous.
Seriously, if the level of betrayal aboard a ship like the Enterprise (either version) was typical, their empire should have eaten itself alive upon inception.
But then again I have some problems with Klingons having as big an empire as they do with how scenery chewing violent Klingons are usually portrayed.
