This comic is based off an older fan comic that I drew awhile back featuring the memorable characters of  aerokat and her outstanding comic 'Nightshift'. And it is a real privilege to have her draw that same comic in her original style and characters. I hope you all enjoy this little comic/tribute to her comic.

Brief 'Nightshift' backstory:
Cage is a vampire who has been in hiding. He finally returns to modern New York City with his blood brother Travis. Cage tries to avoid trouble, but still accidently gets discovered by a police officer named Jack. Seeing that Cage is really an immortal vampire, Jack talks Cage into joining the police force to help fight crime. Cage goes along with idea and joins the force.

My tribute:
Keeping with the 'Nightshift' story, I wrote this script of what possibly could've happened in between events of the original comic. As with any other job, Cage would have to go through a series of changes and adjustments, which he isn't looking forward to. He's the type that would rather do his own thing and go on his way. But he doesn't have much of a choice here. Now Cage is going to learn about the police gym. And since Jack was the one that recruited him, it seems fitting that he would be the one who is assigned to train Cage. Cage has really nothing against Jack, he would just rather work with someone else. Like maybe a girl, like Jazz (Jazz is a girl he hinted to being attracted to). Jack is cool with the idea and Cage is not. But little do they both know that the tables will turn.
