I have this idea about a visual novel where you play as a little boy (seen above) the boy lives in a world where magicians exist but are treated horribly and feared, their hands are removed from birth as to stop them from casting magic, the boy you play as is a mute mage who is disregarded by his parents, one day he decides he wants to run away from the horrible earth so he breaks into a broken-down boarded up library where a book that can send a mage to another dimension is rumored to be. After finding it hidden behind a barrier of illusion that only a mage can cross he begs the book to take him to a land where he can find a family that will love him. The boy awakens in a hellish and dark world where he meets with creatures and monsters, all with their own personal wishes and regrets, a forgotten king, a large gentle but feared beast, a depressed and suicidal father who's children have turned to dust and others, will you be able to help them and finally have that happy family you wished for or would you fail and see your last chance at happiness wither away?
