Fast thing, done after finishing CoD WAW on Hardened :D
It was colored, but I messed up so much that it looked better without them. >.>
This also made me think a bit...someone (don't remember in wich site) said in my last pic that he'd love to see a more detailed version. Unfortunately, I'm not a detail whore 98% of the time, for two reasons. First, the more I detail something, the more I expect people to like it. So it's a huge frustration when I spend days on something and people pratically ignore it. Wich leads me to number two, if I detail too much, I'm not doing art for myself, I'm doing a pretty pic to appease people. Sure, details make a drawing pop out much more, but I'm more expression than hiperrealistcness (lol?). I often lose inspiration after doing a very detailed image, because I go beyond what I'm used to do, a.k.a. I leave the expression of it behind and concentrate on making it look like an ordinary pretty drawing. Lately, I've been doing fast pics like these and submitting them anyway to feel the joy of translating a fast emotion into a drawing, without having to worry if people will like it, how many faves it will get, etc.
Wow, I ranted. D:
I hope I was somewhat clear though. <.<"
By the way, I got a few screens of this...anyone want another failtutorial? XD
Well, lemme go finish CoD4 now. o/
