A magical being that resembles a flowering vine. Makes its home on living things, especially loves animals and people. It is very protective of its host and guards them from diseases and parasites. It will never harmfully leech off them, so long as its flowers are allowed to bask in sunlight and fresh air. It feels when its host is frightened or in pain, and will shed a substance that will have nasty effects on any outsider who touches it. These protective qualities are reviled by some, and occasionally implanting oneself with them is illegal. Because of this, they are usually found living in remote areas. They seem to have a connection with unicorns, who love their scent and will occasionally nibble on them.
