I dunno. You have not failed totally until you burn water, and the pot it was in, ending with the fire team trying to figure out how water can actually catch fire. That earned me a banned from the house for a week.
Or watching some noodles bake ... and then realizing they just turned to charcoal while you were watching because you were so busy watching you did nothing to save them.
Or stuffing an unopened bag of gummi bears into a microwave just to see what happens. Actually ... that was kinda cool.
