Yesterday, I went once again to the Regal Cinema at Sawgrass Mills in Sunrise, Florida, where (for nearly six months) I'd attended the debut screenings of five different Disney movies - beginning with "Zootopia" (back in March), and continuing with "The Jungle Book", "Alice Through The Looking Glass", "The BFG", and "Finding Dory" - and now, I'm here for my sixth Disney film: "Pete's Dragon".
(Unlike previous screenings I went to at the same cinema, I didn't go to a Thursday night 'sneak preview' like the ones in the past... because they didn't have one this time!)
And, once again, for being one of the first attendees of the screening of "Pete's Dragon", I got my official limited edition 'Collector's Ticket'... and, for only the second time, I got #1 out of 500! (The "Zootopia" ticket was my only other #1 out of 500.)
And, once again, the artwork for said ticket was done by "Deviant Art" member Andy Fairhurst - who had rendered the images of the other aforementioned Disney films on similar tickets...
And, once again, Andy had his characters looking away from the ticker holder - as he'd done in the past - but you all knew that, already!
And, BTW, "Pete's Dragon" is a far better film than the 1977 musical version (with Robert Redford taking the place of Mickey Rooney). Trust me on this... and go see it!
'Pete', 'Elliot' and "Pete's Dragon" (C) Disney

Well, consult with the Regal Cinema folks. If one of your local theaters is a Regal, maybe they can start distributing 'collector's tickets' for 2016-2017 Disney fare - including "Moana" and a live-action/CGI reboot of "Beauty and the Beast"...
At least, check out the "Regal Crown Club", where you can collect points and get discounts (and even 'freebies'), whenever you attend a Regal Cinema... https://www.MyRegal.com
