Okay, the "experiment" is most assuredly a success. We've got Peanut and Grape in a classic Housepets situation (Grape trying to take a nap). Peanut looks like Peanut, Grape looks like Grape, but they also look like a dog and a cat (respectively). The first couple of strips looked like you were still getting a feel for the new stuff, but with this one, you've successfully integrated the innovations into your existing style,nd gotten a whole passel of increased expressiveness to boot!

I have to admit: the first full comic you did in the new style made me a bit wary, but you seem to have gotten really comfortable with it really quickly, and now I think it looks great!

I think the whole "cat look" is going to work really well across the board.

Still getting used to the new designs. I think you were a lot more used to emoting/expressing with the old designs and it's going to take you a little time to get your chops with the new ones. Overall they seem good, you'll settle into them soon, I imagine.

Was there ever any more to this bit with the shock collar? It's been forever since I've read Housepets and your latest post (book 4) has made me realize I need to reread the whole series. I don't remember there ever being a conclusion past this though.
