Rifel ! Check out her gallery, favorite the original, and show her some love with a commission or two.
So, WHO is this girl and WHY does she have a horse form? Hold onto your butts, because it's time for a BACKSTORY DUMP.
GHOSTS! Hundreds of thousands of horrific tales have been written about these fantastic phantoms from beyond the grave. But not all spirits of the departed are creepy drowned girls obsessed with revenge or beheaded riders who haunt the woods. Just ask Esper!
... or commune with her. Because she's dead. Yeah, anyways...
In the past, this young apparition went by the name of Esperanza Vives. Born to a rich Spanish-Filipino father and a doting Japanese mother, she was set to spend the rest of her days in quiet, comfortable luxury. Boring! Esper quickly ditched her dull fate and ventured off for parts unknown, determined to brighten the world with song and dance. For several years, she did just that as a much beloved idol.
Then she died. Whoops.
But on the moment of her demise, a supernatural deal with a tricky Tikbalang kept her soul bound to the earth. Now, she wanders the lands, a (sometimes) half-horse ghost of her former self. Fortunately, Esper doesn't mind her eerie state of being in the slightest. Why should she? After all, there've been idol singers, but not a single person has ever seen an idol specter!
