Heat 13 debuted at Anthrocon this year, and it was beyond cool to open it up and see my artwork in there alongside some amazing artists and authors who I've admired for many years. This was my first time working with SofaWolf and it was so much fun doing these illustrations! And seriously, there's some great work in there as there always is, so don't check it out just for my drawings.

Thanks, and yes! I did some other illustrations for the story and I'll upload more of them (I have to let certain periods of time pass after the publication before I can upload additional pics). I can say I learned a lot about illustrating a story from this project, and thankfully I got to consult a couple of veteran illustrators in the process.
I loved what you did with the characters in my story and the scenes you chose to illustrate. Its such brilliant work and really breathed life into these people and their world! I picked out the tract reading scene for the promo snippet specifically because of this illo, which I saw on the first day of AC and was really impressed by.
So sorry I didn't bump into you there, would have loved to get you to sign my copy:)

It was so much fun getting to figure out how to draw these scenes from your story. Of course, there's some pressure to do a decent job of it--making sure the scenes fit with what you imagined in the first place. So I'm thrilled I managed to do that! I'm looking forward to the chance to do more :D
Ack, I would have loved getting your signature too! In all likelihood I'll be back in Pittsburgh next year :)
