The Harbour Bridge was one of the greatest engineering masterpieces of its time. Sydney Harbour had an impressive and instantly famous landmark made in a style that reflected the end of an industrial era.
Did you know that this bridge of ours, if destroyed, can never ever be replicated ever again.

I know the history behind it but I do find it really fascinating that it can attract so much attention

...is a successor to New York's "Hell Gate Bridge" and it was called "The Iron Lung" during its construction because it employed many hundreds of people during the great depression.

I can never get enough knowledge of this great bridge.

...and yes, this country nowadays could never replace it. So I often worry what will happen if enough metal fatigue develops that the bridge becomes structurally unsafe.
