Wheni first watched the show I thought to my self that he annoyed the animales jsut ot get reactions on camera and I was kind of upset but the mrore I watch the mre researc I did and the more I talked to people in Auz who knew him thr more I was made aare ofa whata rtender genuinely caring person he was. He died doing what he loved and I hope I can say the same for me He will be missed
When I saw this on CNN I honestly couldn't believe it. But alas I know its true, and its a sad truth to know that we must all endure the future ahead of us without him.
R.I.P. Steve Irwin, may your influence and legend exhist immortal.
Aside from the sad reality we have faced, thank you Ultraviolet for giving us something to remember him by. It's nicely done.

Thanks for this art.
It's amazing that in this world, with all it's major troubles, terrorism, war, politics, greed ... we are all, myself included, really upset by the death of this one man. It goes to show just how important he really was, not that I really thought of that till it was too late.
May you rest in peace Steve, and thanks for showing us all the importance of looking after those that share this planet with us and showing that there is beauty even in such species as many of us on this planet, for some reason, instictively distrust.
We'll miss you.
Snugs, Damoclien.

I never thought of it before but now that he's gone I'm really kinda taken aback at this. I know he knew these kind of risks when it came to handling all kinds of wild animals but of all things a stingray??? It just doesn't seem like such a man with such a love for animals and nature should go out like that. I mean there's people killing eachother every day for some political idea and here's a man that dies showing the world living beings they'll probably never see in person but could have a serious effect on.
I guess I'm more broekn up about it than I thought.

It might be odd to say this, but perhaps this will give some future generations another Irwin to watch and smile about... his daughter, who he passed a lot of his love of wild things on to, and who I'm sure will want to carry on his legacy.
And who knows? Maybe Steve will get reincarnated as one fo the scaly types he loved... I think he would seriously enjoy being a croc himself. :)
