Trying out a different style with an OLD character. I came up with Griffen the gryphon when I was...ten? six? Somewhere around there. He, Oxnard, Fireball, Raven, Gloria, and Bandit were my first few characters as far as I can remember. I may or may not ever draw most of them, but Griffen seemed like a good test subject for this style.
Also, his pupil is huge. I've always drawn him angry or hunting, but he's really more like a big dog, he tends to be very happy and excitable.
