About:
Nibbies are squishy food themed creatures that dispense their food type via their tails. This can often lead to them getting plugs on the tips of their tails to prevent leakage or unwanted guests from devouring their food. Though intelligent, they are sometimes kept as pets or helpers, making them great for chefs and children.
Food and Flavoring:
Nibbies are foods that can be dispensed or squeezed from their tail, so foods such as icing or soup are great examples of this. Foods that Nibbies CAN'T be are solid foods such as bread or steak, as they cannot be “dispensed” or “expelled” via the tail.
Most everything they devour is converted into their food type within their bodies, though there are exceptions. Some things they devour will add a flavoring to their food types. For example, if you were to have a black coffee Nibbie, feeding them creamer or milk would cause them to have a slight flavoring. Food types that can be flavored via the food they devour are much rarer than others. For example, Carbonated water is much rarer than a regular soda flavor, due to the fact that what they eat would turn into a soda, which often times leads to disgusting and rare drinks (such as bacon and cheese flavored soda). It is possible for the food in the Nibbie's bodies to rot, so it is important that they cleanse their bodies often. All Nibbies are omnivores.
Enhanced Regeneration:
Nibbies have no bones, and are made from a squishy, soft material. They are capable of regeneration immediately after being “destroyed”. If one were to melt, they would simply reform from the puddle.
Heat and cold resistance:
All Nibbies are different depending on their food types. Some nibbies can stand being put into an oven for a few minutes, while others can withstand being put in a freezer. This often depends on their food type, but some can only be kept room temperature, thus do not like winter or blazing hot summers. Heat based Nibbies should be kept warm during the winter months, just as cold based Nibbies should be kept cool during the summer.
Size:
Anywhere between 1-10 ft tall. Nibbies grow in size by absorbing the food that they consume, as well as the food their body creates. This means they need to consume a lot in order become so large. In order to become small, it is required that they fast, or they squeeze everything they've absorbed out of their tail.
Floating:
Nibbies have the capability to levitate a few feet off the ground, 3 feet at the most. This also can last up to a tops of 5 minutes before they must land again. What comes up, must come down!
Bodies:
Nibbies are boneless, meaning their entire bodies are very squishy. If you were to cut off a Nibbie's arm it would be similar to jello. Some types may ooze a jelly-like fluid, while others do not.
They have skin similar to that of a peach, thus are very soft and squishy. They create their food type inside their stomach and tail, and dispose of it through the tip of their tails.
Nibbies are smooth on the outside, but slightly sticky on the inside
What is their environment?
Ultimately what you do with your Nibbie is up to you. However, there is a Nibbie village specifically made for Nibbies. It is highly based off towns of Italy, and even have an apartment building based off the Colosseum.
Are Nibbies feral or sentient?
Despite some people keeping them as pets, Nibbies are Sentient and greatly enjoy the company of others. They do, however, have a few feral aspects about them, such as the ability to make cute “plurring” or gurgling noises.
