Here is a very unique project we have been working on lately. Our first Mascot style suit, introducing CLMS JAWS! (not entirely sure on the name yet). He is for a Junior High School in my hometown in Canada. Yay ^^.

Shark and fish species are not very common, and this guy was a very interesting design challenge. He is made of fleece, and in the chest and fin areas have 1/2 inch foam and liner to prop them up a little bit. The fins have slits near the wrists for easy hand access. The head has a static jaw, ventilation between the teeth, and pocketed gills that you can even stick your fingers into. Feet are a more simple design, as with the bodyshape, in order to fit a wider range of teenage performers at the Junior High School that he was made for.
The design in general was mind boggling at first, I recall sitting down to carve the head and thinking "How the heck am I gonna do this?!", but it came out great in the end and we are very happy with the results!
The fins are absolutely hilarious to see in person, as they flap around a bit and can coff someone on the head rather nicely.
The school specifically requested the feet / legs more resemble a tail and did not want an additional tail on the back as we had originally designed for them.
Enjoy!
